I play daily fantasy basketball Fantasy Sports Live. If your into daily fantasy basketball, you should check it out. You can play in buy ins as low as $1 or up to $200 and there are point caps, salary caps, and no cap leagues. With daily fantasy basketball you can use your skills each day to get in on the action. There is always a daily league to join at Fantasy Sports Live. The great thing is this is a skill game.
Think about it this way. In a normal season long league, usually the player who got the best draft and knew who to sit and play during the season will do the best. Now with daily fantasy basketball you can pick a fair team each day since there is no drafting order. You draft your team right when you sign up. This means you can both pick the same players but everyone is going use their salary cap different way. In daily fantasy basketball you just need to use the most up to date news and stats to figure out the best player to play. You’ll be surprised how many people don’t take a really cheap player even though he will be starting due to another’s injury. This is why if you do your research you can have and edge at Fantasy Sports Live.
In case you haven’t noticed. You can play in daily cash fantasy hockey matches at Fantasy Sports Live. The current buy ins start at $1 and go up to $33. You can play in point cap matches, salary cap matches, or no cap matches. Your team will include the following players.
* 1 Goalie
* 2 Defense Men
* 2 Left Wings
* 2 Right Wings
* 2 Centers
My friends who are really into fantasy hockey say the best strategy is to find a couple good players that you can pick up for cheap. Then you can use all the money you saved on buying the expensive guys who are sure to get you lots of points. Plus keep in mind if you pick a bad goalie you don’t have much of a chance to win. The below info on how points are scored at Fantasy Sports Live will show you the emphasis placed on the goalie.
+20 each win
+10 each shutout
+1 each save
-7 each goal against
+10 each goal
+7 each assist
+1 each shot on goal
+1 each minute in penalty box
+5 each plus stat
-5 each minus stat
Some fantasy basketball players have been putting up big numbers recently. The following players all earned monster fantasy points of the last couple days.
Saturday December, 8th
-Josh Howard had a career high 47 points which helped him earn 59 fantasy points for anyone who was lucky enough to pick him up.
-Deron Williams from Utah had 41 points which contributed to his 52 fantasy points.
-Al Jefferson from the Timberwolves had a season high 20 rebounds and 32 points. He ended up with a huge 60 fantasy points.
It might be time to watch these guys more closely. Jefferson is to inconsistent for my liking but if he has a couple big time games I might start picking him up. Josh Howard has been looking consistent over his last 5 games and might be a good buy if his price stays cheap. Deron Willams is usually good for a lot of points but lacks in the rebound department and is off and on with his assists. If his price is good, I might try him out sometimes.
